Reviews
- K-12 Turkish school in Çekmeköy founded by Sabahat Sezin in 1963. Cohort is mostly Turkish, with the school accredited locally and offering an American-track stream alongside IB Diploma and Cambridge pathways.
- Online conversation sits almost entirely in Turkish on Eksisozluk, Enokul and parent blogs. The school is described as disciplined, well-resourced and serious, with a campus where outdoor and play space exceeds the building footprint.
- Recent Eksisozluk reviews question value for money. One reviewer cited 1,210,000 TL kindergarten and primary fees for 2025-2026 and argued graduates have not converted that into notable competitive-exam results.
- Older reviews from the original Goztepe campus describe small classes of 25 to 30 and a strong family feel. The 'family school' framing is repeated by the school and echoed by alumni.
- A 2023 r/istanbul thread mentions Sezin among recommended private schools but the commenter explicitly disclaims direct knowledge.
- Public picture sits closer to a Turkish private school with international add-ons than to a fully expat-focused international school.
