AKA School

An IB World school in Bahçelievler running the full PYP, MYP, and DP continuum in English with German and Spanish as additional languages.

AKA Koleji opened in 1999 and was authorised for the IB Diploma in February 2004, making it one of the longer-established IB schools on the European side of Istanbul. The campus on Radyum Street sits in a residential pocket of Bahçelievler, and the school covers ages 3 to 18 in one place. Instruction is English-medium with structured German and Spanish from primary onwards.

The intake is largely Turkish families looking for an IB pathway rather than expat-heavy. Families who like the IB continuity and the language load tend to stay through to Diploma. The most common parent gripes are about transport logistics rather than academics. Fees are not published, which is normal for this segment of the Istanbul market.
