Oakridge Gachibowli is operated by Nord Anglia Education and runs the full IB continuum alongside CBSE. The school was founded in 2001 under educationist Shomie Das and acquired by Nord Anglia in 2019.

Cyberabad-side campus in Khajaguda serves ages 2.5 to 17 through the IB Primary, Middle and Diploma Programmes, plus a CBSE track and Cambridge IGCSE. Annual fees run INR 3.6 to 10.5 lakh, mid to upper for the city's IB cohort.

Parent signal is mixed. The positive read centres on curriculum organisation and accessible teachers. The pushback runs the other way: that the fees outrun the campus feel, and that the school trades on its Nord Anglia network exposure more than on day-to-day delivery.

Families who have been through the Gachibowli campus tend to land in two camps. Returnees from abroad and students who have moved across the city's IB options often rate it above its nearest rivals on campus, cleanliness and a more relaxed, American-feeling student culture. The sharper recurring complaints sit at the senior end and around how the place is run: parents and students describe IB Diploma teaching posts going unfilled, college guidance pushed onto paid outside hands, and a posh, celebrity-heavy crowd. The maths-of-money tension the school is known for shows up in the lived detail too, where the question is less the headline fee than whether the day-to-day delivery keeps pace with it.

Positives

  • Stronger than its near rivals for returnees. Students who have attended more than one Hyderabad IB school often place this campus ahead on cleanliness, campus, teaching and administration, and a returnee from the US found the student culture closer to an American school than its peers.

Considerations

  • IBDP teaching gaps. At the Diploma level, families describe positions left unfilled, with one subject reported as having no teacher for an entire year. This clusters in the most recent couple of years.
  • Outsourced college counselling. Parents say the school leans on third-party people for university guidance rather than in-house counsellors, and that this is an extra cost on top of fees.
  • Run like a business. Prospective parents describe class sizes that stretch past the usual IB cap once staff children are added, and a willingness to simply open another section when numbers rise, which some read as commercial flex over capped cohorts.
  • Staff manner and discipline. Written reviews recur on coordinators and senior staff coming across as rude or biased, and on a loose, under-disciplined feel from management down, with the middle-years programme in particular felt to lack direction.
  • Posh, celebrity-heavy crowd. The campus is repeatedly named among the city's elite schools where celebrity and ultra-wealthy families send their children, with fees in the seven-lakh-plus tier.
  • Fees against facilities. Some families single out strong teaching and encouraging staff, while others find the facilities limited or poorly kept for the price, and the food and dining hall draw specific criticism.
