Insight International School is a 2012-founded Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel campus in Shaikpet, headed by Ruhi Tabassum, marketing itself as the city's primary international school with explicit Islamic orientation.

Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, and IGCSE form the academic spine, with Pearson Edexcel available as a parallel qualification route. Programme covers Nursery through Grade 10 across the Shaikpet flagship and satellite campuses at Mehdipatnam and Rajendra Nagar. Islamic Studies sits inside the regular timetable rather than as an extracurricular bolt-on. The school reports 100% IGCSE pass rates in the Feb-March 2024-25 sitting.

Management runs through a Board of Directors rather than a named founder. Annual fee starts at about 74,000 INR with transport adding 36,000 and an admission fee of 30,000. The public review pool spans 274 Justdial ratings and a smaller MouthShut pool. Parents praise the specialised faculty and AC smart-classroom environment; critical accounts cite fee-driven management behaviour, teachers suggesting outside tutoring, and uneven attention to average-performer students. Islamic-orientation positioning is the school's clearest market differentiator in Hyderabad.

The written parent voice here is warm on the day-to-day classroom experience and sharp on how the school handles money and middling students. Families who land on the right side of it describe attentive subject teachers, a calm air-conditioned setup, and a faith-aligned environment that was the reason they chose it. The recurring friction sits elsewhere: a sense that fee collection is where the management's energy goes, small extra charges that arrive on top of an already-paid bill, and attention that pools around a handful of children while the rest get less of it. Teacher accounts add a quieter layer, a place that several staff found genuinely supportive to work in, set against pay that lags and internal politics that some found wearing.

Positives

  • Classroom environment and subject teaching. Parents who are happy single out engaged, specialised subject teachers and a calm air-conditioned, smart-board setup that their children took to. The faith-aligned environment is repeatedly named as the reason families chose and stayed.

Considerations

  • Fee-focused management and add-on charges. A recurring grievance is that management attention seems to concentrate on fees, with parents describing extra line items such as printout charges landing on top of bills they had already settled.
  • Attention skews to a select few. Several parents describe a pattern where the same small group of children gets the spotlight, including activity videos featuring only certain students, while average and quieter children feel passed over and concerns raised about them go unanswered.
  • Teacher experience. Staff accounts split: some describe a respectful, growth-minded place to work, especially for women, while others flag pay that trails comparable schools and internal politics and partiality that affected the mood.
