In brief
Glendale International School Nallagandla operates as the senior Cambridge-and-IB site within the Glendale group's western Hyderabad footprint. Part of Glendale (founded 2003 by Anjum Babukhan; acquired by Global Schools Foundation in 2023).
Ages 3 to 18. Curriculum stack covers CBSE, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS/A Levels and the IB Diploma. The Nallagandla / Tellapur layout area sits to the west of central Hyderabad in the IT-belt periphery.
Sister campuses include the Tellapur site (full IB continuum), the Financial District site (Cambridge focus) and Bandlaguda Jagir (CBSE and IB Diploma). The Glendale group consolidated under Global Schools Foundation in 2023 and now operates within that network framework. Public fee data is not consistently published; admission enquiries are required for current figures.
Reviews
What families on the western campuses keep coming back to is whether the school is still the school they signed up for. Long-standing parents talk about a step down in feel since the group changed hands, and that worry shows up most sharply in two places: teaching staff who do not stay, and fees that have climbed without an obvious matching jump in delivery. Set against that, recent parents describe approachable teachers, an organised admission process and reliable transport, so the picture splits by who you ask and when their child started.
Positives
- Approachable day-to-day staff. More recent parents describe class teachers who are reachable and invested in individual children, and a smaller-batch setup that lets staff give attention. Several single out a calm, well-behaved cohort and a smooth, well-organised admission and transport experience.
Considerations
- Ownership change felt as a downgrade. Parents who have been around a while talk about the place feeling less special since the management changed, with a recurring sense that it is not as strong as it was before. The shift in operator is discussed as something that changed the day-to-day, not just the letterhead.
- Teacher turnover. Frequent exits of class teachers come up repeatedly, including stretches where parents describe waves of staff leaving and a run of transfer-certificate requests. The churn is the most consistent complaint across the western campuses.
- Cambridge delivery questioned. On the Cambridge side, parents and onlookers describe the offer as unremarkable and flag teachers who they feel are not properly trained on the syllabus, with some reports of classes not running consistently. Other parents counter that the staff are qualified and the IB and Cambridge programmes are handled well, so accounts diverge.
- Fees and access. Fees are described as on the higher side and climbing year on year, with one parent tying a noticeable jump to the change in ownership and judging the facilities just about worth it. Admission conversations also circle around contacts and recommendations carrying weight at the sought-after western schools.
