In brief
A small bilingual French and English Montessori school for ages 3 to 12, on a 3,000 square metre garden site in Collonge-Bellerive on the left bank of Lake Geneva, eight minutes from the city centre.
Opened August 2011. Five classes spread across four houses in a tree-lined park, with the TPG bus G stopping in front of the gate. Younger children come into bilingual mixed-age rooms with three teachers per class, then move to the main building from age six where six teachers carry the Montessori work through to twelve while still mapping to the Romandy education plan. Eco-Schools labelled since 2022.
This is a community-scale school, not a campus operation, and the appeal is the setting plus the Montessori continuity to the end of primary. Half-day options end around 1:30pm, full days run to 3:30pm with after-school care to 6:15pm. AMI accreditation gives families confidence the Montessori practice is the real thing rather than a label. Best fit for francophone or English-speaking families on the left bank wanting a calm, garden-based primary route with a clear bilingual finish.
