Curriculum
Montessori (AMI)
Ages
3 to 12

A small Montessori school sitting in countryside at La Rippe, between Geneva and Nyon in canton Vaud, despite the Geneva listing.

The current school took its present form in January 2016 when Cornelia Tosch and Bilal Ojjeh took over an existing Montessori site with 11 children, growing it to around 70. The 3-to-6 group runs bilingual French-English, the 6-to-12 trilingual French-English-German, with native-speaker AMI-trained guides on a one-language-one-person model.

Yearly fees sit around CHF 19,500 to CHF 20,700, with a sibling discount, and meals and scheduled transport are included. The setting is genuinely rural, which families either love or find inconvenient depending on commute. Useful for cross-border families based around Nyon, less practical for households tied to central Geneva. The school listed founded year is blank in the DB, the operational restart was 2016. Notes: founded 2016 (under current management); the underlying site predates that under different ownership.

  • A small AMI-aligned Montessori school in La Rippe, between Geneva and Nyon, run as a parent project rather than from Geneva proper. Trilingual French, English and German for the older 6 to 12 group; bilingual French and English for the 3 to 6 group.
  • Founders Cornelia Tosch and Bilal Ojjeh took the school over in January 2016 with eleven pupils and have grown it to around seventy-two.
  • Public review corpus is essentially empty. Searches for the school's name return only patisserie discussion of mille-feuille pastries, and no parent or expat threads surface.
  • The available material is a Living in Nyon profile interviewing the founders, plus directory listings. The pitch is rural setting, electric school transport from Nyon and Geneva, and a closed parent-app reporting flow.
  • Parents choosing this school are choosing the founders' direct stewardship rather than an independent reputational track record. There is no independent signal to confirm or contest the school's own description.

Positives

  • Trilingual structure. French, English and German for the 6 to 12 group, with bilingual French-English in the early years
  • Setting and logistics. Rural La Rippe campus with electric transport links to Nyon and surrounding communes

Considerations

  • Independent review depth. No Reddit, Mumsnet or expat-forum signal; the only published material is founder interviews and directory entries

Welcome to Deux Mille Feuilles Montessori School! As your primary contact here, I’m genuinely delighted to support and assist with any questions or needs that arise. Working alongside Bilal to run the school since 2016 has allowed me to fully pursue my passion for education and child development. With a background in psychology, Montessori AMI 3-6 and school management, as well as certification in nutrition and coaching, I bring over a decade of experience to my role. As a mother of three, I am deeply committed to education's role in children’s lives, always inspired by my own children who teach me daily about wonder, patience, and the beauty of learning together. My experiences living across different countries have shown me that every interaction leaves an imprint on the heart—a belief I carry into all that I do and every moment I share with others. It’s a pleasure to welcome you and your family to our community!!
