  • The Al Wakra campus opened in 2015 as the second DBS site and moved into a new 1,200-capacity building in September 2024. The Rawdat Al Hamama campus opened in 2022 to serve the Lusail catchment.
  • Parent feedback on Al Wakra is consistently positive on Edarabia. One parent who has had children there for seven years praised education quality, teachers and atmosphere. Another described the campus as "a small school with big plans" where small year-group sizes allowed personalised learning.
  • The most recent BSO inspection covering the DBS group, including Al Wakra, returned an Outstanding rating with inspectors highlighting strong leadership, creative planning and pupil behaviour.
  • The Rawdat Al Hamama campus is newer and the online review pool is small. Verified ratings on the international schools database average across three reviews, with one parent saying academically it is "alright somedays but most days it's sloppy" and that some teachers and admin staff are apathetic.
  • The wider DBS group's 2023 r/intschoolreview review noted the newer Al Wakra and Rawdat sites are better resourced than the original Ain Khaled campus and benefit from more modern infrastructure.
