The Chennai campus of Shiv Nadar School, opened in 2023, is a young IB school in Adyar building toward a full K to 12 programme.

Operated by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which also runs schools in Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad, this is the network's first Chennai campus. It sits on a 14 acre green site beside the Adyar river, a short distance from Besant Nagar beach, with a building designed by architect B V Doshi. The campus is authorised for the IB Primary Years Programme and is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme, with plans to add the Diploma as it grows.

It is still scaling. The school opened with Nursery to Grade 4 and now runs to roughly Grade 8, so families are joining an institution that is filling out year by year rather than an established one. Cohorts are small, around 26 children per class across three sections. Published annual fees sit near INR 4 lakh. Principal Padmini Sambasivam leads the campus.
