Uppingham Cairo

Uppingham School's first overseas campus, opened September 2024 on a 10-acre site in New Giza overlooking the Pyramids. Run by New Era Education in partnership with Bloom (UAE) and New Giza Development, with the UK Uppingham brand and academic oversight.

Co-educational, K-12 path leading to IGCSE then a choice of IB Diploma or A Level. Headmistress Emma Webb came in from a Jakarta posting. Inspected by ISI and a COBIS Patrons' Association school, BSME member. The campus build, sports facilities and staff hires have been the visible pull in year one.

Day-only at present, with day-boarding sold as a structured wraparound model rather than residential boarding. Fees are private and have to be requested. Too new for substantial parent voice across forums, so the read is largely from the brand pitch and the early intake. Families weighing it should compare directly against the established New Cairo British schools on the east side, since location is the first practical filter.
