A 100 percent German-owned school in Mokattam Green District, opened in 2014 and operated by Rahn Education from Leipzig. Teaches the Berlin-Brandenburg curriculum from kindergarten through to the IB Diploma.

Distinctive for being the only German-curriculum school in Cairo run as a direct subsidiary of a German education group rather than a German-Egyptian joint operation. IB World School authorisation came in 2017, with Grades 11 and 12 running an IB-prep route. Class sizes are 20 to 25, the campus is four levels with a strong tech build-out, and quality is audited by an independent German agency.

The Mokattam location sits east of central Cairo, which keeps the catchment more local than the desert-road campuses. Public parent review traffic is thin, which is in line with most German schools abroad. The practical draw is the Berlin-Brandenburg programme and the route through to a German university or, via the IB, an English-language one. Best fit for families with German already at home and a clear preference for the German educational tradition.
