Head of school
Ms Heba Helmy
Ms. Heba Helmy brings extensive international education experience to Merryland. She began her career at the Faculty of Arts, English Department, then spent 29 years with the British Council in Egypt, progressing to senior leadership roles. She subsequently served as Principal of the British Division at a leading Cairo international school for over a decade, where she expanded operations to a second campus. Her background includes additional leadership positions across multiple international institutions, educational consulting, and CEO experience. Most recently, she worked as an educational consultant with Egypt's Ministry of Education, focusing on raising standards in national and international schools.
