Lycée Albert Camus

An AEFE-accredited French school on the New Giza campus, part of the LVNG Learning Environments group and educating from kindergarten through the French baccalaureate.

The school opened in September 2015 as Lycée Voltaire and adopted the Albert Camus name in November 2017. French Ministry accreditation followed in June 2018, with formal AEFE affiliation later that year. It runs the full French national curriculum, with Arabic from kindergarten and English from CP.

Trilingual delivery and AEFE oversight are the main draws for French and Francophone families on the West Cairo side, where alternatives are fewer than in New Cairo. The campus sits inside the New Giza compound off the Cairo-Alexandria desert road.

Independent parent voice is sparse but generally positive on the leadership and on the share of titulaire teachers, which matters in French network schools where staffing churn can vary.
