Canadian-curriculum school in 6th of October City, opened in 2006 and accredited by the Province of Manitoba. Junior K through Grade 12 leading to a Manitoba High School Diploma.

Heritage runs the Manitoba pre-K through 12 curriculum end to end, with local teachers handling Arabic, religion, social studies and French alongside Canadian and Egyptian classroom teachers in the main academic stream. Facilities include science, physics, biology and chemistry labs, a two-storey library, an indoor gym, multipurpose courts and football fields.

The Manitoba diploma is recognised across Canadian universities and accepted into the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities pathway, which is the practical reason most local families choose this route over the American diploma. Day-to-day reputation among parents leans toward a calm, family-style atmosphere rather than high-pressure academics.

Useful for Egyptian families targeting Canadian universities or wanting an alternative to the more crowded American and British streams in west Cairo, and for diplomatic and expat families on the Canadian circuit.

  • Parent reviews lean strongly positive, with several families describing the school as a "second home".
  • The Canadian Manitoba curriculum and a Manitoba High School Diploma are repeatedly cited as the main draw.
  • Staff described as supportive; one teacher-parent praised the family environment.
  • Teaching staff for Grades 7 to 12 must be Canadian and Canadian-certified, which is unusual in Cairo and noted by recruiting teachers.
  • On the International Schools Review forum, posters described it as "a good school with a growing reputation" but "certainly not tier one".
  • Distance from Maadi to 6th of October City is the most-cited practical drawback for staff and families.
