Green Land Pré Vert International School
The most experienced IB school in Egypt, founded in 1994 and the only one authorised to deliver PYP, MYP and DP in both English and French.
In brief
The most experienced IB school in Egypt, founded in 1994 and the only one authorised to deliver PYP, MYP and DP in both English and French.
GPIS sits inside the wider Green Land Educational Foundation. The Bashtil campus in Giza is the main site, with a sister campus in Sheikh Zayed. Bilingual sections run from age 3 through Diploma, and Egyptian Arabic and culture sit alongside the IB framework rather than as an option.
Families who pick GPIS tend to be committed to the full IB pathway from primary onwards and want the French option taken seriously rather than as a side stream. The school is openly more academically demanding than many peers, and the workload at MYP and DP is what families most often raise.
A natural choice for francophone families and Egyptian families wanting IB continuity in a culturally rooted environment. Less suited to those who expect a relaxed first-school experience or are not committed to IB through Year 12.
Reviews
- Independent parent feedback online is sparse. The visible signal is one short ISD review crediting an Egyptian cultural identity and a family atmosphere.
- The school is the first in Egypt authorised to run all three IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP) in both English and French, and that bilingual IB positioning is the recurring point families cite when choosing it.
- Reddit, Mumsnet and community discussions returned no usable parent voices for this school.
