An IB-track school on the NewGiza campus that started with AMI Montessori in the early years and runs IGCSE and IB Diploma in the senior school. The first DP cohort has graduated; PYP and MYP are still in candidacy.

Andy Dailey leads, with CIS accreditation and around the 144,000 to 187,000 EGP fee range. The Montessori-into-IB path is the unusual feature, and it lines up with what NewGiza families seem to want: a school that takes early years seriously and then funnels into the IB.

The honest read is that this is still a young school finding its feet. Families who like it praise the staff and the educational philosophy. The harder critiques cluster around leadership turnover and a sense that internal concerns, including bullying in primary, have not always been handled cleanly. Worth visiting more than once and asking pointed questions about academic leadership stability before committing.

  • Reviews from parents are polarised on a small base. Five reviews average, with three five-star endorsements and at least two strongly negative voices.
  • Positive reviewers describe Evolution as "one of the best schools in Egypt" and praise teachers, curriculum and the progressive pedagogy. One called it "progressive education at its best".
  • The negative side focuses on leadership rather than teaching. One reviewer wrote that Evolution "has potential but is held back by poor leaders who don't listen", adding that "previous directors were good but both left". Another summed up their experience as "dreadful".
  • Director turnover is the recurring complaint. The same reviewer linked departures to a "lack of awareness of academic leaders in the school wanting to change".
  • No further parent, expat or community signal surfaces for this school, so the picture is built entirely on a tiny, polarised parent pool.

Positives

  • Teaching and IB curriculum. Five-star reviewers credit teachers and the progressive IB pedagogy as the school's strongest feature

Considerations

  • Leadership instability. Director turnover and concerns that senior leaders do not listen recur in critical reviews
  • Polarised parent base. Reviews split between strongly positive and strongly negative on a small base of five
