CADMUS International School – Alburouj

CADMUS Alburouj is a SABIS-operated school that opened in 2023 in the Alburouj compound on the Ismailia Desert Road, east of Cairo.

It is the second of two SABIS-network CADMUS schools in Egypt, paired with the New Administrative Capital site. The curriculum runs through KG to Grade 12 with the SABIS Point System, IGCSE, and AP. English and maths get heavy weighting, Arabic is taught alongside an additional world language, and the campus is purpose-built with interactive whiteboards in every room.

Families considering SABIS should understand the method before committing. It is structured, testing-heavy, and built around frequent short assessments, with prefects and student life organised into the SABIS Student Life Organisation. Children who like routine and clear targets often do well. Those who need more open-ended teaching, or who arrive into upper grades from inquiry-led systems, can find the transition mechanical.
