Anne Sullivan International School

An IB continuum school in Pallejà, opened in 2018, on a wooded site at Gran Via de Fontpineda about 20 km west of central Barcelona. PYP through MYP and Diploma, with English as the primary language alongside Spanish and Catalan.

The school positions itself on a neuroscience and multiple-intelligences pedagogical frame, with small class sizes and a heavy focus on character education. Director Mª Rosa Coscujuela Palau and a tight founding team set the tone, and the parent voice that does exist is consistently warm: families describe attentive staff, smooth integration for younger children and a real sense of being known.

The constraint is scale. Anne Sullivan is small, young, and located outside the main expat catchments of Sarrià and Pedralbes, so families committing here are buying into an early-stage project rather than a known quantity. No public IB cohort track record yet. Right for families who want a calm, semi-rural setting and a relationship-led school, less so for families who need a large international peer group from day one.
