In brief
SISB runs several campuses across Bangkok including Nonthaburi (established 2001) and Suvarnabhumi locations, delivering Singapore curriculum for primary students with bilingual English-Mandarin instruction, then transitioning to Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level pathways for secondary years. The school network has expanded rapidly and positions itself as providing Singapore-style education, though it operates independently without official Singapore Ministry of Education recognition. Marketing materials highlight the bilingual approach and cultural emphasis, targeting families seeking Asian educational values within an international framework.
Teacher discussions reveal troubling patterns across SISB campuses, with reports of extremely high workloads including 25-30 teaching periods per week plus supervision duties, cover lessons, and mandatory after-school activities. Multiple educators describe working 7am-4pm with minimal breaks, eating meals with students, and handling recess supervision on top of teaching responsibilities. The school requires teachers to work extended hours including weekend events, with staff reporting burnout and describing the institution as prioritizing profit over educational quality. High staff turnover rates and negative workplace culture appear consistent across different campus locations, with teachers frequently leaving after single contracts.

Reviews
- SISB draws by far the loudest online discussion of any school in this batch, almost all of it's r/Internationalteachers and almost all of it negative on the staff side.
- Teachers describe heavy duty rosters: arrival and dismissal duty, snack and lunch duty with students, plus 25 to 30 teaching periods. Several call it a school they wouldn't return to.
- Parents on aggregator pages split. Those who praise the school cite strong maths, science and trilingual English-Chinese-Thai teaching, plus a wide co-curricular range. Those who criticise it flag fee increases, opaque communication and a sense that money is going on facilities rather than teachers.
- Boarding parents are more positive than day parents, citing safety and care.
- Reputation among Bangkok teachers is that SISB sits in the middle tier, well below ISB, NIST and Patana on quality, but with rising fees driven by demand from mainland Chinese families. The school is publicly listed on the Thai stock exchange.
- One parent summed up the management critique by saying parents "don't know what's happening until it happens on the very day," especially around curriculum changes.
