Cambridge IGCSE through A-Levels, opened in 1999 by the Isra Trust and run as a not-for-profit. Started in Cox Town and now on a three-acre Hennur Road campus near Kannur.

One of the older Cambridge schools in the city and treated as a serious academic option rather than a branded international play. Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards have come out of the senior school, and IGCSE results have a stronger reputation than the school's understated profile would suggest.

The not-for-profit framing is real and shows up in fee levels that sit notably below the new-build Cambridge schools further east. The two consistent threads in parent voice are praise for teaching that focuses on understanding over rote, and frustration with the Hennur Road location for families coming from the south or the Whitefield corridor. Smaller community feel than the headline names.

A long-running Cambridge school run by the Isra Trust, with roots in Cox Town since 1999 and a larger newer campus off Hennur Road. The pitch parents respond to is the same one the school has carried for years: a calm, faith-aware setting that delivers an international syllabus at fees well below the city's marquee names. Coverage in public is sparser than the size of the school suggests, and what surfaces leans positive on teaching and pastoral feel, with a smaller current of unease about how the school is run day-to-day.

Positives

  • Cambridge pathway through to A level. Cambridge Primary into IGCSE and AS/A Level on one site, with results parents describe as solid for the fee point.
  • Pastoral tone. Parents talk about a warm, attentive staff and a small-school feel where teachers know the children by name.
  • Value for money. Fees sit well below the Bangalore international top tier, and parents single this out when comparing options on Hennur Road.

Considerations

  • Faith-aware setting. Trust-run with a visible Islamic ethos alongside the international curriculum. Reads as a draw for some families and a poor fit for others; the school does not hide it.
  • Management and communication. Recurring grumbles about how the office is run, with parents describing patchy responsiveness and decisions that feel top-down.
  • Two campuses, different feel. The original Cox Town site is compact and urban; the Hennur Road campus is larger and purpose-built. Facilities and atmosphere differ enough that a visit to the right one matters.
