Neev Academy

Full IB continuum with an ICSE option at middle school, built out of Kavita Gupta Sabharwal's Neev preschools that started in 2005. Two campuses now, the main academy at Yemalur near Bellandur and a newer Tasker Town site in north Bangalore.

Reputation is built on a literature-and-inquiry identity rather than a results-table identity. The annual Neev Literature Festival is a known event on the city circuit and tells you a lot about what the school cares about. The middle school choice between IB MYP and ICSE is genuinely useful for families who want to hedge.

Parent base skews professional and progressively minded, and the school leans into that. Fees sit at the top of the Bangalore IB market, around 5.5 to 11 lakh. Reviews settle around 3.6 to 3.8 out of 5, more honest than the 4.6-plus marketing scores at some peers, and broadly track what families on the ground report: strong on values and breadth, less of a fit for parents who want a conventional academic pressure cooker.

• Parents returning from the US picked Neev over TISB, Canadian and Inventure for grades four and six and described the remote admissions process as seamless.
• Neev is consistently named alongside TISB, Oakridge, Indus and Ebenezer as the cluster of established east-Bangalore IB options, with the campus described as outside the city in a less polluted area.
• Early-years fees are flagged as expensive, in the same bracket as Indus and Inventure preschools; budget-conscious parents are pointed to Headstart, Greenwood and similar.
• Beyond the IB-shortlist mentions and a College Board test centre note, the independent parent pool is small. There is no recurring critical theme, but absence of complaints in a thin pool is not the same as endorsement.
