An AMI-registered Montessori school in Pejeng village near Ubud, opened in 2019 by Austrian-trained Montessorian Gertraud Neuner. Small, rural, and properly Montessori rather than Montessori-flavoured.

The campus is built around an octagonal rammed-earth structure on the edge of rice paddies, with an organic farm and a cafe run by the adolescent Sekundaria group. Three streams cover Kindergarten through Sekundaria, ages roughly 3 to 15. Fees sit between IDR 69 and 117 million, mid-range for Bali.

Authentic Erdkinder adolescent programmes are rare anywhere, and the AMI standards behind it mean the materials, the prepared environment and the guide training are the real thing. Best fit for families already committed to Montessori philosophy and willing to drive into Gianyar. Public parent reviews are thin because the school is young and small, so a visit and a conversation with current families matter more than usual here.
